Gate 49 — The Gate of Principles

Gate 49 in the Solar Plexus center is a sensitivity to principles, fairness and whether a relationship or system still works.

Overview

Gate 49 is where values meet feeling. It reacts when a principle has been broken, when a group is treating someone unfairly, or when a relationship no longer matches what it was meant to be. It can be a gate of transformation, since it sometimes says, "This has to change." The gate works best when it can express its feelings clearly and wait for the emotional wave to settle before acting.

Where Gate 49 sits

Gate 49 lives in the Solar Plexus center and is part of the Ego circuit (Tribal group). Its channel partner is Gate 19 (the 19-49 channel of Synthesis). The gate counts as defined when a planet activates it in your chart; if Gate 19 is active as well, the channel forms and links your Solar Plexus and Root centers.

The six lines
