Privacy policy

Gatewise is a Human Design chart tool, available as a website (gatewise-chart.pages.dev) and as an Android app (package com.buddy.gatewise). It is made by an independent developer. Contact: nikotfic@gmail.com.

The short version

• Gatewise does not collect, store or sell personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
• Your birth data is used only on your own device to calculate your chart.
• Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play.

Birth data and saved profiles

The chart is calculated in your browser or in the app on your device. The name (optional), birth date, birth time, birth place and time zone you enter are not sent to us. If you save a profile, it is stored in your device's local storage for this website or app only. You can delete any saved profile from the Profiles screen, and clearing the site data or uninstalling the app removes all of them.

When you use "Share link", the birth data is written into the part of the link after the "#" sign. Browsers do not send that part to any server; only the people you share the link with can see it.

Birth place search

The list of places (from GeoNames) is downloaded as a single file and searched on your device. What you type is not sent anywhere.

Hosting

The website is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. Gatewise does not add analytics, cookies or tracking of its own and does not receive these logs for any profiling purpose.

Android app

The Android app opens the Gatewise website in a Trusted Web Activity, using a browser installed on your device (normally Google Chrome). That browser's own privacy policy applies to the browser itself. The app requests no special permissions beyond network access to load the site. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.

Purchases

Gatewise Pro is a one-time in-app product sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment under the Google Payments Privacy Notice; Gatewise never sees your payment details. To unlock and restore Pro, the app asks Google Play on your device whether your Google account owns the Pro item and confirms (acknowledges) new purchases with Google Play. Gatewise does not run a server that receives purchase data.

Children

Gatewise is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Your rights

Because Gatewise does not hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. Your saved data is under your control on your device. If you have any question or request, email nikotfic@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
