Human Design Authorities
The seven inner authorities in Human Design: Emotional, Sacral, Splenic, Ego, Self-Projected, Mental and Lunar, and how each one makes decisions.
Emotional AuthorityEmotional authority belongs to anyone with a defined Solar Plexus. Clarity comes over time, so the guidance is to ride out the emotional wave before big decisions.Sacral AuthoritySacral authority is for Generators and Manifesting Generators without a defined Solar Plexus. Decisions come from an immediate gut response to a yes/no question.Splenic AuthoritySplenic authority is a defined Spleen with no defined Sacral or Solar Plexus. It is a quiet, in-the-moment intuitive knowing that speaks once.Ego AuthorityEgo authority belongs to people whose Heart center is defined and who have no defined Solar Plexus, Sacral or Spleen. Decisions come from honest willpower and what you truly want.Self-Projected AuthoritySelf-projected authority belongs to Projectors whose G center connects to the Throat. Clarity comes from talking out loud with a trusted sounding board.Mental (Environmental) AuthorityMental projectors have no defined inner authority center. Decisions come from discussing options with a range of people and noticing which environments feel right.Lunar AuthorityLunar authority belongs to Reflectors. Major decisions are tested across a full lunar cycle of about 28 days to see what stays consistent.
