Overview

Gate 31 is the voice of influence. It carries the potential to speak for a group, to propose a direction and to have people listen. This influence is not simply taken; it tends to be conferred. People decide to follow a voice that expresses what they sense is right. The gate's challenge is to stay accountable when the group has trusted it, and to remember that influence is a responsibility.

Working with this gate

Speak when you have been asked or when the group clearly needs a voice, and listen to the response. Ask: Who is listening to me, and what do they need? Am I speaking to guide, or only to be heard?

Where Gate 31 sits

Gate 31 lives in the Throat center and is part of the Logic circuit (Collective group). Its channel partner is Gate 7 (the 7-31 channel of the Alpha). The gate counts as defined when a planet activates it in your chart; if Gate 7 is active as well, the channel forms and links your Throat and G centers.

The six lines
