Overview

Gate 30 is a craving for experience. It brings a deep longing to feel, to taste, to try. The gate is often described as a fire, and it can be intense, carrying hope and sometimes disappointment when desires do not turn out as imagined. Its gift is passion and a willingness to live fully. Its learning is to enjoy desire without being ruled by it, and to let some wishes pass without being acted on.

Working with this gate

Give desires time to settle before acting, and notice which ones remain. Allow yourself to enjoy wanting without needing to fulfill it at once. Ask: What am I longing for under the surface? What does this desire promise me, and is that promise realistic?

Where Gate 30 sits

Gate 30 lives in the Solar Plexus center and is part of the Abstract circuit (Collective group). Its channel partner is Gate 41 (the 30-41 channel of Recognition). The gate counts as defined when a planet activates it in your chart; if Gate 41 is active as well, the channel forms and links your Solar Plexus and Root centers.
