Gate 2 — The Gate of Inner Direction

Gate 2 in the G center is a receptive sense of direction, like an inner compass that knows where you are headed.

Overview

Gate 2 is the receptive side of identity: a feeling for where you are going that does not need to be pushed or planned. Think of it as a compass rather than an engine. The gate holds the map, and its channel partner supplies the energy to travel. People with Gate 2 often describe a sense of knowing their general direction without being able to say how they know, and they may be sensitive to whether a place or a role is aligned with that heading.

Instead of forcing a destination, notice what keeps drawing you back. Direction tends to emerge from many small signs. Ask yourself: Which choices feel like a continuation of my path, and which feel like a detour made out of habit?

Where Gate 2 sits

Gate 2 lives in the G center and is part of the Centering circuit (Individual group). Its channel partner is Gate 14 (the 2-14 channel of the Beat). The gate counts as defined when a planet activates it in your chart; if Gate 14 is active as well, the channel forms and links your G and Sacral centers.

The six lines

Every gate has six lines that color how its theme is lived. Treat these as short reflections rather than rules; traditions describe the lines differently, and your whole chart matters more than any single line.
