Gate 59 is the drive to get close. It wants to break through the barriers that separate people, whether those are emotional, physical or social, and it is often associated with sexuality, bonding and the creation of new life or new projects. The gate carries strong energy that is best used with honesty and consent. Its learning is to pair closeness with trust.

Gate 59 lives in the Sacral center and is part of the Defense circuit (Tribal group). Its channel partner is Gate 6 (the 6-59 channel of Intimacy). The gate counts as defined when a planet activates it in your chart; if Gate 6 is active as well, the channel forms and links your Sacral and Solar Plexus centers.
